You've never tried to change me, and I've never tried to change you. We've always wanted good things for each other, and we're happy when we reach our respective goals.
As friends, we know each other's best and not-so-best sides. We've called it like it was and like it wasn't. And each of us would probably admit that we've made our fair share of what seemed to be less-than-perfect moves. We've trudged through some serious stuff and kept each other steady when we were being bumped around on some rough roads.
We've kept our sense of humour when the situation at hand wasn't funny. We've done our share of hurting, changed a little, and messed up 2big time," but we always managed to carry on no matter how we felt or how rocky the ride was.
We've cheered each other on and felt bad when one of us was down.
